Bhutan and Nepal

Bhutan is still one of the few untouched countries in the world and a paradise for tourists interested in Buddhist culture and philosophy. Its flora and fauna, the impressive Dzongs and the meticulous houses as well as the Bhutanese dresses make for something very special.

Then it’s to the vibrant Kathmandu valley with its mixture of Hinduism and Buddhism and a myriad of festivals.

Itinerary:

1. Day: Tuesday arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to your Hotel. After your briefing stroll a little through Kathmandu.

2. Day: Enjoy the first day of sightseeing. Bhaktapur, the ancient city of the Newars, beckons to be explored. Lunch in Hotel. In the afternoon we visit two religous places: Pashupatinath, the biggest and most important Hindu temple and Bodnath the center of Buddhism are so intruiging and exciting. Overnight in Hotel.

3. Day: Thursday Flight to Bhutan. Arrival in Paro. Transfer to your Resort. Overnight in Resort.

4. Day: Druyel Dzong, National Museum & Rinpung Dzong, drive via Simtoka to Thimphu.Overnight in Hotel.

5. Day: Sightseeing of Timphu valley: National Library, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and Handicraft Emporium; drive to Punakha across the Dachula Pass.

6. Day: Punakha Dzong and via Wangdiphodrang to Paro.

7. Day: Monday Return flight to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel in Dhulikhel.

8. Day: Sightseeing in Dhulikhel and Panauti. Transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.

9. Day: Transfer to airport.
