MTB to Kailash (via Kodari)

Few expeditions can rival such an epic trip into the heart of the Himalaya and few mountains in the world can rival the grandeur of Mt Kailash at 22,028ft or 6714 m. This tour starts from Kathmandu and is a near circumamulation of the Nepal and Tibetan Himalaya's from altitudes of 200-m to 5630-m
It will coincide with the holiest of dates in the Tibet Buddhist Calendar (Saga Dawa- The Buddha's Enlightenment) that spreads from the New Moon & culminates on the Full Moon in June. This is the rarest of opportunities in anyone's life to experience this moment in time & travel.

23 Paryang to near Old Zhongba (ca 95kms) Ride & Camp

24 Near Old Zhongba to Saga (ca 142kms) Ride / drive & Camp

25 Saga to Shishapagma Base Camp Bike & Drive as required

26 Shishapagma Base Camp bike to the ShungLa (5050) via back route, down hill to Dulung Village then transfer into Nyalam. Bike & Drive as required

27 Nyalam to Zangmu (check point) to The Last Resort. Bike

28 Jeep Transfer The Last Resort- KTM (ca. 96 km), by afternoon in KTM. Transfer

29 Departure KTM Transfer to airport.

DAY 30: Our last day in Tibet, cycle downhill towards the border Zangmu and enter Nepal through Kodari. Approx. 3-4 hours biking, we will have lunch before Barabise and we ride till Dolalghat and then a van will transfer us to hotel in Dhulikhel. Approx. 2 hours. Overnight in lodge. The last day party will be held in the hotel. Don't forget to enjoy the sunrise early morning. Distance: 127km, Altitude: 1500m

DAY 31: he last day of our biking around the valley rim brings us to Kathmandu. We will transfer you to hotel. Approx. 2 hours bike duration. Distance: 32km, Altitude: 1300m

DAY 32: Departure to the Airport.
